Dialogues with the Afterlife - theatrical performance reading
Does anybody know what ageing is?'..a process of continued and unstoppable practice', a certainty lying at the heart of a FESTIVAL OF UNCERTAINTY.If there's one thing that is certain, it is that ageing goes on unstoppably, unless, that is, you are dead and gone. Who in their right mind wants to be dead and gone? Dead and gone might be said to clear the slate, time and time again, but what kind of useful proposition could that possibly be towards a FESTIVAL OF UNCERTAINTY? Because being dead and gone has for a very long time in human history been the be-all and end-all, the things most revered, celebrated, ritualised and avoided, the thing always being brought centre stage, what chance do we have to deal properly with the issue of ageing? Not everybody is dead and gone, but everybody is ageing. All the time.

ODD Support group - PORNSTARS FOR PRISM - an open proposition

The ODD Support Group exists to creatively empower the efforts of all those with Oppositional Disobedience Disorder (ODD), a diagnosis described as an ongoing pattern of guided disobedience and hostilely defiant behaviour toward authority figures which goes beyond the bounds of normal behaviour. More research is needed to determine whether ODD has a genetic component or whether it is mainly triggered by exposure to traumatic events or and/or hypocritical tyranny. Symptoms include excessive, often persistent anger, disregard for authority, and enhanced social conscience, which, as clinical studies have shown, can only be alleviated by Direct Action and Creative Disorder. The ODD Support Group seeks to help by offering a wide range of therapeutic programs where ODD sufferers can express themselves and their needs in a supportive environment. Our latest campaign - Pornstars4Prism - puts the fun back into feeling paranoid* Activists all over the world are tired of feeling stressed and oppressed - now it's time to get undressed!

An Uncertain Proposal - performance letter
Once I staged an all-female version of Apocalypse Now, it featured 2 females. The performance was followed by a forum on the state of New Zealand theatre. Sometimes I think I would like to stage The Matrix as it was such a hit movie it would be great to capture some of that audience in the theatre. I am also interested in exploring my internal whims and hunches on a large screen placed on a prominent landmark, or projected into the night sky. Furthermore, I like song and dance.
